Grafik Magazine has included our designs for the Witte de With in their graphic design top 50: “Perhaps it is a benchmark of a good typeface that it can hold its own even while being almost totally obliterated by a domineering slick of fluoro ink. This was the surprising and eye catching tactic used by Utrecht-based designers Kummer & Herrman for their identity for Rotterdam contemporary art center Witte de With this year. The studio produced a visual identity for each of the artists exhibited bu assigning them a typeface and then, with admirably obstructive urges, played print striptease with an acid glaze of narcotic color.”
